As we follow the spiral, a strange surreal cowboy figure begins to emerge, her face appearing as if she’s part of the fruit itself yet simultaneously unraveling it with her very own hands, both revealing and becoming the essence of the blood orange. I wanted to capture a blurring of boundaries, the way a gummy adventure can pull you into a world where everything starts to merge and twist together. So here’s to fully embracing the unusual, and letting each bite take you a little deeper…relax, get weird, and enjoy the ride!”

About the Artist:

"Diosa" (Jasmina Amalya Cazacu) is an illustrator and muralist based out of Mexico City, México. She uses surreal, dreamlike imagery to create fantastical scenes that dare her audience to challenge their perceptions, observe with wonder, and appreciate the magic that is always flourishing beneath the surface of the mundane.
